Travel and Transportation

 

  • Hotel accommodations will be provided from March 28th to April 3rd. The conference will take place from Sunday, March 29th, to Thursday, April 2nd.
  • Guests must only arrive via Baghdad International Airport (because of logistical and organizational reasons).
  • The conference participants will be received at Baghdad International Airport by the Tourism State Board office, and this office will arrange the transportation of the guests to the Hotel.
  • Guests will be accommodated at their designated hotel on the Iraqi side and will incur no financial costs for accommodation and food throughout the conference
  • The conference will ensure the security of the participants during the travel from the Airport to the Hotel and back, in the Hotel, the trips to Babylon, Dur-Kurigalzu, the Iraqi Museum, and the transportation to the University of Baghdad Campus. Any other activities outside the frame of the program or Hotel or on the days of the conference, outside the scope of attendance, the security will be at their own personal responsibility. Each participant is responsible if they leave the organized transfers and the secure event venues (Hotel, University).
